The Cross Border Civic Lab
An interactive participatory model for the South Moravia–Lower Austria–Bratislava triangle: stakeholders surface shared resilience priorities, pick one together, and turn it into a concrete cross-border Lab pilot.

Who it's for
For citizens, municipalities, researchers, SMEs, NGOs, students and public institutions in South Moravia, Lower Austria and the Bratislava Region. It matters because these regions share climate, environmental and resource pressures, but the knowledge, data, facilities and implementation capacities needed to respond are fragmented across borders and sectors.
What we built & tested
We built a clickable demonstration platform showing the full process: a triangle-region map, the resilience umbrella, stakeholder inputs, a priority shortlist, forum selection, and the path from one selected priority to a Lab pilot. We tested the logic on a sample topic: flood resilience along the Morava–Dyje basin.
Next step
Run a first stakeholder input round before the forum, create a shortlist of five resilience priorities, use the forum to select one final priority, and then convene the matched actors through Cross-Border Dialogue to design the first Lab.
